Research Areas of the Nanochemistry Group

- Colloid chemical synthesis of luminescent semiconductor, metal, plasmonic, and other nanocrystals with desired physicochemical properties.

- Targeted chemical modification of the nanocrystal surface for imparting the desired functional characteristics to it.

- Study of the formation of nano-heterostructures containing nanocrystals, core–shell nanoparticles, gradient quantum dots, and nanorods capable of efficient luminescence and charge-carrier photogeneration.

- Study of energy and charge transfer in complexes of colloid nanocrystals and organic molecules in order to develop optical sensors based on these effects.
