MULTIFUNCTIONAL STIMULUS-SENSITIVE MICROCAPSULES AND NANOCRYSTALS FOR EARLY DIAGNOSIS AND EFFICACIOUS TREATMENT OF LUNG AND BREAST CANCERS (State Contract no. 16.1034.2017/PCh)

In the framework of applied research on Multifunctional Stimulus-Sensitive Microcapsules and Nanocrystals for Early Diagnosis and Efficacious Treatment of Lung and Breast Cancers (State Contract no. 16.1034.2017/PCh, Grant Agreement of May 31, 2017), researchers of the Laboratory of Nano-Bioengineering have analyzed available publications to compile a patent and research data base on the synthesis of microcapsules, methods for increasing their stability, and stimulus-sensitive targeted delivery.The results have been reported at an internal workshop of the Nanomedicine Group of the laboratory. The possibilities of further extension of the use of the targeted delivery system based on stimulus-sensitive polymer microcapsules containing excitonic and/or plasmonic nanoparticles have been discussed.
