MULTIFUNCTIONAL STIMULUS-SENSITIVE MICROCAPSULES AND NANOCRYSTALS FOR EARLY DIAGNOSIS AND EFFICACIOUS TREATMENT OF LUNG AND BREAST CANCERS (State Contract no. 16.1034.2017/PCh)

In the course of applied research on Multifunctional Stimulus-Sensitive Microcapsules and Nanocrystals for Early Diagnosis and Efficacious Treatment of Lung and Breast Cancers (State Contract no. 16.1034.2017/PCh, Grant Agreement of May 31, 2017), a technology for obtaining polymer microcapsules containing magnetic nanoparticles has been developed and the optimal amount of the magnetic component ensuring the response of the microcapsules to magnetic field has been determined.Preliminary characterization and estimation of the functional activity of the product, namely, the capacity of the microcapsules for moving upon application of a magnetic field, have been performed.
