Young researcher of the Laboratory of Nano-Bioengineering represented NRNU MEPhI at the large international conference Nanotech France 2016 (

The Nanotech France 2016 international conference was held in Paris on June 1–3, 2016, hosted by the Pôle Universitaire Léonard de Vinci ( The conference gathered both renowned scientists and young researchers, including graduate and postgraduate students, from all over the world. The subjects of the conference included all aspects of nanotechnological research.

Although Paris was experiencing a flood caused by the Seine overflow on those very days, the conference was carried out successfully. Numerous research groups from Europe, America, Asia, and Australia presented the results of their research and developments in the fields of designing, characterization, and applications of nanomaterials.

NRNU MEPhI was represented by Viktor Krivenkov, a young researcher of the Laboratory of Nano-Bioengineering, who made an oral presentation on the main topics of his PhD research project dealing with controlled energy transfer in nano–bio hybrid structures. Viktor managed to gain colleagues' interest in the novel nano–bio hybrid material for optoelectronics and photovoltaics that he designed and continues to work on. Viktor's statement provoked numerous questions and proposals of collaboration, which further confirmed the high level of research performed in NRNU MEPhI in general and Laboratory of Nano-Bioengineering in particular.
