Development of an Analytical System Based on Suspension Microarrays for High-Performance Detection of Cancer Biomarkers: Seminar of the Laboratory of Nano-Bioengineering (LNBE)

June 15, the Laboratory of Nano-Bioengineering of NRNU MEPhI held a seminar on the results and prospects of applied research on the Development of an Analytical System Based on Suspension Microarrays for High-Performance Detection of Cancer Biomarkers.

Development of diagnostic nanoprobes and microarrays for early diagnosis of cancer, with quantum dots used as fluorescent labels, is the main line of research in LNBE. At the seminar, five reports were presented on different aspects of fabrication and clinical use of diagnostic suspension microarrays based on polymer microbeads optically encoded with quantum dots. The seminar ended with round-table discussion of the results achieved and prospects of further research and developments.
