An LNBE project wins the competition of applied research projects in the framework of the Federal Target Program "Research and Development in Priority Fields of the Science and Technology Complex of Russia for 2014–2020"

July 15 the results of assessment of applications for grants on applied research aimed at developing products and technologies in the framework of the Federal Target Program "Research and Development in Priority Fields of the Science and Technology Complex of Russia for 2014–2020" were publicized. The program was approved by Russian Federation Government Decree no. 426 on the priority field "Life Sciences" (Item 1.2 of Step II).

Applications for the grants under Lot 3 "Development of Regenerable Biosensors for Detection of Disease Markers in Blood Serum" from six research institutions were assessed by the Competition Committee according to a set of criteria. Contracts on research projects have been awarded to two institutions.

LNBE's proposal for the project entitled "Development of a Pilot Sample of a Regenerable Biosensor for Detecting Serum Markers of Socially Important Diseases" presented by the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI scored the highest number of points and won the competition. The contract on the grant was signed on 5 Aug 2014. The other winner under the same lot was the National Research University of Electronic Technology MIET, Moscow, Russia.
