Laboratory of Nano-Bioengineering invites you to attend lectures of leading European scientists to be held at NRNU MEPhI on November 26–29 in the framework of the EC–Russia Year of Science and the Program for Enhancing Competitiveness of NRNU MEPhI.

Three leading European researchers in the fields of nanotechnologies and their biomedical applications will give the lectures.

Prof. Frauke Alves, of the Dept. of Molecular Biology of Neuronal Signals, Max-Planck-Institute of Experimental Мedicine, and Dept. of Hematology and Oncology, University Medical Center Göttingen, Germany, will lecture on Non-invasive Imaging for Pre-clinical Evaluation of Novel Therapeutic and Diagnostic Concepts in Oncology and Non-invasive Imaging of Hallmarks of Cancer in Mouse Tumor Models.

Prof. Michael Molinari, of the Laboratory of Nanoscience Research, University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne, Reims, France, will touch upon the physics of nanostructures in the lectures Near-field Cathodoluminescence and Nano-EBIC Experiments for Nanoscale Optical and Electrical Characterizations of Semiconductors and Optical Properties of Silicon-related Nanotubes and Nanowires Grown by Electrodeposition in Ionic Liquid.

Prof. Yuri Volkov, director of research of the Institute of Molecular Medicine, Trinity College Dublin, and principal investigator of the Centre for Research on Adaptive Nanostructures and Nanodevices, Dublin, Ireland will give lectures Applications of Nanotechnology for Molecular and Cell Diagnostics and Key Nanosafety Issues of Medicine.

See the Events and Achievements page of our website for the schedule of the lectures and other details.
