An LNBE project wins the competition for the state contract in the framework of the Federal Target Program "Research and Development in Priority Fields of the Science and Technology Complex of Russia for 2007–2013," the first among 32 competing projects.

February 28, the results of the competition for state contracts on exploratory research in national priority fields in the framework of the Federal Target Program "Research and Development in Priority Fields of the Science and Technology Complex of Russia for the 2007–2013" (Item 1.2 of the program (Step II) "Task-Oriented Exploratory Research and Laying the Groundwork for Future Science and Technologies in Live Systems") have been announced.

Thirty-two organizations have competed for state contracts in Lot no. 2 "Development of the Basis of Biosensor Technologies for Laboratory an Express Diagnostics"; the Competition Committee has evaluated them on a point-scale basis according to several criteria and selected three projects that scored the highest for awarding them state contracts.

LNBE's proposal for the project entitled "Approaches to Laboratory and Express Diagnostics Using Biosensors Based on Highly Oriented Conjugates of Single-Domain Antibodies and Fluorescent Nanocrystals" presented by the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI has scored the highest number of points.
