Joint seminars of cluster of international laboratories of Nano-Bioengineering and Hybrid Photonic Nanomaterials

December 3 and 4, 2019, the cluster of international laboratories comprising the Laboratory of Nano-Bioengineering (LNBE) and Laboratory of Hybrid Photonic Nanomaterials (LPNM) of NRNU MEPhI held two series of seminars.

The first series dealt with the results of research carried out by Daria Dyagileva, master student, in the framework of her practical training under the direction of Viktor Krivenkov, a young researcher who recently got his Ph.D. degree. The training was organized by Prof. Yury Rakovich, leading scientist of LPNM, in Materials Physics Center at San Sebastián, Spain.

Researchers from LPNM have been engaged in joint research in nanoplasmonics and spectroscopy of individual quantum dots. Two papers are planned to be prepared based on the results of their experiments.

In the second series of seminars, Prof. Yury Rakovich summarized the results of the three-year project on Linear and Nonlinear Nanoscale Optical Effects for Designing Next-Generation Biosensors. After a general discussion, persons responsible for the preparation of different sections of the final project report were appointed.
