Joint seminar of cluster of international laboratories of Nano-Bioengineering and Hybrid Photonic Nanomaterials

May 24 the cluster of international laboratories of Nano-Bioengineering (LNBE) and Hybrid Photonic Nanomaterials (LPNM) held a seminar where researchers presented their recent and ongoing studies in the main fields of the cluster's research and developments.

In the first part of the seminar the progress in achieving the efficiency indices set for 2019 was discussed. In particular, it was decided that LPNM should employ several newly graduated bachelors that are going to enter a master course.

The rest of the seminar dealt with the progress in research projects carried out in LNBE and LPNM. The progress reports were presented by four young researchers who recently got their Ph.D. degrees.

Dr. Dmitry Dovzhenko, researcher, presented recent results of research in strong coupling in his report on Strong Light–Matter Coupling.

Dr. Galina Nifontova, senior researcher, made a statement on The Main Lines of Research and Results of the Project "Multifunctional Stimulus-Sensitive Microcapsules and Nanocrystals for Early Diagnosis and Efficacious Treatment of Lung and Breast Cancers".

Dr. Viktor Krivenkov, researcher, reported on Current State of Research in Plasmonic Enhancement of Biexciton States in Quantum Dots.

Dr. Irina Petrova, researcher, presented a recent development, Two-Dimensional Imaging of Protein–Protein Interactions via Detecting Photonic Crystal Surface Waves.
